No one can pin-point when did learning start but we can discuss 21st century learning. We live in an amazing century that allows us to think, learn and experience many different things but that allowance comes with a cost. Most of us do not utilize technology enough to overcome the daily mundane tasks. I see technology as a tool to get rid of non-important and daily tasks. Anyways i am more interested in how it effects the language learning. With technology learning a foreign language became very accessible, it is more easy to get exposed to target language and do practices. Key dimensions of learning practices promoted by various 21st century learning models include collaborative learning, use of ICT as tools for knowledge construction and co-construction, critical and creative thinking, and authentic problem solving (Chai et al. 2015; Dede 2010; Howland et al. 2012; Voogt and Roblin 2012). Getting in contact with a native of a target language is the most important thing in my opinion, in order to learn a language we should be able to see why they talk in certain ways, their mimics and gestures, most importantly their cultures💪💪💪.
In our century learning became excessively available to any tech users though we don't really seize this opportunity. We are still stuck with our traditional minds to educate. We still need someone to push us to learn and do things. There never was a time that learning is so easy but not desired yet we still learn anonymously as we are exposed to so many knowledge. We are in a time of chaotic learning, methods are not identified, levels are not distinguished. This is very effective for personal growth but governments and big companies would not support that as they are looking for more specialized people.
